1. Who is Roosted made for?

Roosted is a software platform designed specifically for gig economy companies, such as event companies, catering companies, staffing companies, and healthcare staff scheduling businesses. It is also suitable for any business with irregular scheduling needs and those that spend a significant amount of time and resources on scheduling, communication, time, and attendance tracking.

In addition to scheduling and communication features, Roosted offers a range of other services, including training, document signing, onboarding, wage and hour calculations, billing, and invoicing. This comprehensive suite of tools helps businesses streamline their operations and improve efficiency.

2. Can you guys work with my weird workflow?

Generally speaking, the more sophisticated your workflows, the better of a fit we are. With Roosted, we’ve built the ability to customise your workflows based on flexible tools. We have things like sequences, which allow you to automate the same type of decision making process you already do, but much faster.

If you’re opening shifts to specific groups of workers first, then others, we can accommodate that. If you’re qualifying workers prior to a shift based on credentials or training, we can accommodate that. If you’ve got 1 or more levels of manual approval that need to happen, or even things like if this happens, then do that within your workflow, we can accommodate that as well.

All of the above we can easily work with, and get Roosted customised for your business logic. During your calls with our Sales and Onboarding teams, we’ll be asking all the right questions to both qualify Roosted as a good fit, and guide you in the right direction.

3. How do you charge?

We charge a monthly fee for only scheduled workers. This means that if you don’t schedule them, there’s no charge. If you schedule them 1 or more times, there’s a flat monthly charge per worker.

4. How do you save us money, and can I afford Roosted?

There’s several key ways that we save your organisation money, and ensure that Roosted is paying for itself. When working with your sales representative, you’ll likely run a Total Cost of Ownership calculation, which will help you understand the cost of your existing system and what it will cost after implementing Roosted. Your costs should always lower after implementing Roosted, especially when you calculate things like “hours spent manually collecting documents from workers”, and much more.

5. Can you hook up to XYZ software?

Typical integrations are: ATS’s, payroll providers, other HRIS’s, finance/general ledgers, and databases.

6. Can you hook up to my payroll provider?

Yes, we can connect with any payroll provider, whether it’s ADP or a local regional provider, we can work with their data format. During onboarding, we’ll ensure that you are well trained on how data moves from Roosted to payroll so that you have full confidence in the system.

7. Do you provide support or training?

Yes we do offer best-in-class support. During onboarding, we have complimentary one-on-one Zoom sessions available at your convenience during business hours US. After onboarding, we offer extended training packages available for reasonable prices to train and support your entire admin team. As well, we have a rich library of Youtube training videos available for both your admins and workers.

8. Who should be involved in the buying process?

When you’re interacting with your sales representative, we’ll provide guidance on what stakeholders may want to be involved at various points. However, for the sales process, we’re generally only interacting with key stakeholders and decision makers.

9. How long does it take to purchase and rollout Roosted?

The answer that covers 90% of Roosted customers is 1-4 weeks. Generally, this depends on a few factors like size, readiness, and buy-in from senior leadership.

10. Do you do free trials?

We have a Qualified Pilot Program open to qualified businesses. Generally, small companies with less than 100 workers are on a month-to-month basis, so you can start evaluating Roosted at any time. Small companies can start, pause, or stop service any month they prefer. Companies with more than 100 workers, or that have sophisticated tech stacks may qualify. Please inquire with your sales representative if interested.
